dear friends of demco,
demco will be closed until further notice observing an executive order declaring a limited state of
emergency in delaware by governor john carney as a reaction to the spread of coronavirus
(covid-19). we will continue to serve the residents of kent county remotely. we will be conducting programs remotely. there are obviously heightened levels of uncertainty and anxiety as this virusspreads around our nation and across the world, but it is abundantly clear that we have a
responsibility to take reasonable and cautious measures to help slow the spread of the virus.
demco supports the centers for disease controls guidelines. thus, we continue to urge all residents
of delaware to practice personal safety consistently:
✓ be sure to continue with infection control measures such as frequent hand washing and social
✓ monitor for symptoms of covid-19, which are fever or feeling feverish, cough, shortness of
breath, or fatigue; while also being mindful of new symptoms, which may include loss of smell,
vomiting, and diarrhea.
